Financial Assistance Applications

Urchfont Parish Council provide a relatively small amount of funds for distribution as Financial Assistance for approved projects each year.

This Policy supersedes and replaces the Community Grants Policy with effect 12th July 2017.

The Parish Council will consider applications for payment of Financial Assistance to local organizations or groups who can demonstrate a specific project need which will clearly benefit the wider local community directly or indirectly.

Applications must be submitted on the current application form - Click here for application form. These forms are fairly self explanatory, but if you have any questions you should contact the Clerk to the Council, details on the Contact Us page.

Applications can be submitted at any time during the year.

Applications will be formally presented to the Parish Council by the Councillor sponsoring the application, considered by the Parish Council and a decision will then be notified to applicants.
