Following the easing of lockdown rules, the UCB Committee is delighted to announce that scheduled trips to Devizes will restart on TUESDAY AUGUST 11TH. Seats must be booked in advance – Times and details below.

We hope to resume the long distance trips to Swindon/Bath/Salisbury in September, depending on Government advice. We will also review special day trips and community hire in September. Details will be published in the Redhorn News and on the Community Facebook Page.
 
STARTING TUESDAY AUGUST 11th FROM URCHFONT HIGH STREET:
DEVIZES MARKET PLACE VIA WEDHAMPTON: 09:30 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday . 13:25 Thursday

FROM DEVIZES MARKET SQUARE: TO: URCHFONT HIGH STREET VIA WEDHAMPTON
11:30 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. 14:55 Thursday

Fare £1 each way. Bus passes can be used.

Trips to and from Devizes MUST BE BOOKED in advance as, due to social distancing, the bus can only take 5 passengers. It will not be possible to guarantee a seat if you turn up without a booking. Each passenger must bring and wear a face covering whilst on the bus. These cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we cannot allow you to travel unless you wear your face covering. If you wish to wear gloves, please bring these with you. Only certain seats on the bus will be used and these will be marked. Please fill seats towards the rear of the bus first and, when leaving, those nearest the door will exit first. Hand sani??ser will be available. The driver will disinfect seats, seat belts, head rests and hand rails before each journey.

The bus is run by a committee and is driven by volunteer drivers. New volunteer drivers and committee members are always welcome. Plaese contact Peter Cook on 01380 840001 or Paul Melhuish on 01380 840-413 for more information.

The committee would welcome any suggestions with regard to the running of the bus as our aim is to meet the transport needs of our local community.
