Off Road Bikes

The Parish Council have received a number of reports from concerned residents about off road / trail bikes being ridden at speed down bridleways / footpaths and illegally on village roads. The bikes have no number plates and so cannot be easily identified or reported to the Police, they may not be insured. They are probably transported to the area within vans and are heading for or coming from Salisbury Plain. Of most concern to residents is the potential danger to pedestrians and their animals from such bikes which approach suddenly - PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE IF YOU HEAR MOTOR BIKES APPROACHING
