Parish Of Urchfont
The Parish comprises the communities of Urchfont, Wedhampton and Lydeway, three villages approximately six miles south of Devizes and on the edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.
The Parish is made up of approximately 950 registered electors and their family members not yet old enough to register. Farming provides the predominant work activity in the Parish.
This web site is launched in 2012 to bring together comprehensive and timely information about the Parish, the Parish Council, Parish History, amenities, facilities, community organisations and businesses that serve the Parish.
